ACCUM scores snow quality (1–5) and avalanche safety (1–5), then combines them into one call: GO, CAUTION, NO-GO, or SKIP. Safety always wins — great snow under high avalanche danger is a NO-GO, not a GO. Summit includes the full avalanche breakdown by elevation band.
Most likely it's off-season where those resorts are. With no fresh snow (and no avalanche bulletin), ACCUM honestly returns SKIP and treats missing safety data as worst-case. During active winter cycles, fresh resort and avalanche data will move the board out of off-season SKIP states.
ACCUM collects the minimum an account needs: your email address (so you can sign in and a subscription follows you between devices) and your subscription status. What you look up is never tied to your account, and your favorites stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Billing belongs to the store you bought through. On iOS, manage subscriptions in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, use the Google Play Store (Profile → Payments & subscriptions). For web purchases, use the billing portal linked from your purchase confirmation. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
ACCUM is a paid instrument with a 7-day free trial of Pro — there is no free tier. Pro unlocks the verdict board, resort detail, compare, region scan, and favorites. Summit adds the AI Powder Finder, full backcountry avalanche detail, and custom alerts. See Pricing.
Resort pages engrave each mountain's real terrain profile from open elevation data (Open-Meteo / Copernicus DEM). Where a resort shows a photograph of its range, the image is used under its respective license (Creative Commons, Pexels, or purchased stock), with thanks to the photographers:
