ACCUM is built to give you a verdict, not to build a profile of you. There's no account, no login, and nothing about who you are leaves your device.
Last updated: June 26, 2026
ACCUM doesn't ask you to sign up, doesn't collect your name or email, and doesn't track you across the web. It reads public snow and avalanche forecast data and turns it into a verdict. We don't sell data — we don't have any to sell.
For the core app: effectively nothing that identifies you. To return a verdict we process the resort or region you ask about — those requests are not linked to an identity.
Because there's no account, ACCUM has no idea who you are. We can't see your identity, your location history, or your contacts. Your favorites never leave the device they were saved on.
Only to run the service:
That's the whole list. No advertising, no profiling.
We rely on a small set of vendors to operate ACCUM. Each receives only what it needs for its job:
Conditions data is a shared, public cache — it isn't tied to you and isn't kept as a per-user record. Your favorites stay on your device until you remove them or clear the app's data. We don't maintain user accounts to retain.
Since we don't hold an account for you, there's no profile to export or delete. You can clear your saved favorites at any time from within the app or by clearing the app's local data. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your app store (Google Play) or, for web, the billing portal from the purchase confirmation.
ACCUM is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Avalanche terrain decisions are for adults with appropriate training.
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data crosses borders, it is handled under those providers' safeguards. Because ACCUM collects no identifying data in normal use, the personal-data footprint of any transfer is minimal.
If we change how ACCUM handles data, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site before they take effect.
